The NFT be resold on a secondary market, such as Openseas. It also has a royaltie mechanism which means that each time it is resold, a percentage will go directly to the NGO that work for the cause you have chosen. For now it is set up to 10%, because it is the maximum amount on Openseas. We a planning to make a secondary market where the royalties would be free to set.
